Supported Housing

SPBHS provides warm and caring support services at The Brookside and MainTree apartment buildings.

These homes are owned by and managed by our partner agency, Kenai Peninsula Housing Initiatives, Inc. Both are comprised of single occupancy, efficiency apartments, shared commons area with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, staff office, and laundry room. MainTree also has two larger apartments to house a couple or small family. MainTree also provides an AHFC housing voucher with each unit.

The homes are designed to assist adults living independently who experience severe mental illness, developmental disabilities, and those with co-occurring disorders who may require more intense staff guidance and overnight support.  Breakfast and dinner is offered daily, as well as weekend lunch by staff with some assistance by residents.
